On New Year's Day, we counted down the Top 50 Songs of 2008, based on airplay on 95.7 FM, WJDK.The list is here if you want to check it out.
Since it's based on airplay, obviously, songs that have been out a little longer are going to be higher up on the list.
I can't believe Daniel Powter's "Bad Day" cracked the top 20. That song is three years old!
Sadly, "Wild World" by Mr. Big didn't crack the list. Maybe it just seems like we play that song a lot.
When a song is as random, and as inexplicable as that one, each time it plays makes it stand out a little more. I have tried many times, but cannot come up with any kind of justifiable reasoning for the amount of times that song is played on WJDK.Don't even try to figure it out on your own. The result will be severe head pain.
