*** On this date in 1962, Michael Hutchence of INXS was born. Hutchence died in 1997.

As a tie-in, we played one of my favorite songs of the 80's, a song currently on my iPod as a matter of fact, "What You Need".

Couldn't find an embeddable version of the actual video, so instead, here's the song played live with Hutchence on vocals for his last tour with the group, in 1997.




*** I've read hundreds of birthdays over the years, but for some reason, it was Steve Perry's birthday announcement today that made me feel old.

Perry turns 60 today!

Again, having trouble finding the actual music video for this, so we'll go with a live version of Journey's "Who's Crying Now" from 1982.
